Handmade Thank You Card

decided to break out my scrapbook items with my roommate and this is the massive chaos of what happens:

i've made about eight cards and was on a card making hype all night long.  love it!  i bet a lot of ya'll didn't know that i love to cook/bake AND scrapbook :)

what is all that on the plate you say?

here's how it all started:

my dear gym partner VELMA MAN decided to share her creation of russian potato salad.  its an american potato style but with tuna. tuna?  yup!  

since i've had it in my fridge, i figure brisket would go GREAT with potato salad.  i also had some velveeta left from thanksgiving's broccoli cheese casserole, so i decide to make mac and cheese.  my dear roommate also went to rudy's for dinner tonight so i request the amazing cream corn :)  we also have a bottle of rudy's bbq sauce in the fridge so i decide to pour a little on there too!

i also have banana bread baking in the oven for breakfast tomorrow and to give out to jester beach riders for stone AND gables boys.  don't worry DARYL ONG, you dont have to come to the beach for your ride to church to get to some breakfast.  as i was writing this blog, i realized that i didnt put nuts in this batch so as my roommate says, "i guess it will just be banana bread."

first time making lasanga ... NOT TOO SHABBY :)

i had a lot of spaghetti sauce and i was going to do the typical noodles and sauce, BUT i realized that i had a box of lasagna noodles from kim chau when she moved out.  so i decided to give it a tried.  looks like it turned out okay.  i also had some leftover spinach from a previous meal so i stuck that in there too.  trying to be semi healthy?  which is going to be a total fail because im heading to 24 hour fitness with velma after eating this for my dinner.  

for those of you who are excited from this blog and always asking me when i will cook for you ... if you want to be fed right away, make a date with me and it will be done.

for those of you who are asking for cooking classes with me ... set a date and we can have ourselves a cooking party.

it's been a while, but i'm back to share a post with all of ya'll :)

YUM-O ... as much as ya'll HATE rachel ray ... i DO enjoy her, SOMETIMES (although she mostly makes pasta, burgers, or stuff with mushrooms).

so mang, my AWESOME roommate, made this a couple weeks back.  i've been craving it for the LONGEST time.  i have had TWO pasta nights since then, NOTHING has compared to what she made.  therefore, i hope tonight will stop my pasta cravings.  if not, i might be craving pasta for a while until i'm SICK of it.

many of you know how i am with food.  i can't eat the same thing over and over again.  so obviously, this time ... something special has happened to alter my eating habits.

these were the dumplings that i brought to class today for ya'll.  if ya'll would like to purchase your own, you can hit up the asian market on braker and lamar.  OR you can hit up HEB like looney-taylor did ... go to the asian section in the frozen section, find the frozen precooked dumplings ... they might not have the exact brand, but any frozen precooked dumplings will do. the directions on the bag should tell you to just boil it until they float.

to my parmer lane teachers - chicken fried rice will be coming soon one day!
